Goodbye SFFMedia, hello Science Fiction World!

When we started four years ago, the site name "SFFMedia" seemed like a great idea. It was short and covered all we wanted it to: "SF" for Science Fiction, "F" for Fantasy and "Media" for everything else. However, it became clear that it was extremely difficult to remember. The two Fs didn't help! This made it harder for us to promote the site, so we've been searching for a new name and matching web address ever since. After some virtual battles over scarce Internet realestate (it's tough out there) we believe we've found the right name and the web address to go with it: Science Fiction World (SFW for short).

While you'll still be able to reach us with old SFFMedia links, we'd appreciate it if you could update any bookmarks or links you may have. Let us know what you think of the new name and address too. We hope you are as a happy with it as we are (you can be happier if you like!).

We have a lot more lined up for the rest of this year and beyond, so stay tuned. We'll soon be reporting live from the 68th World Science Fiction Convention (AUSSIECON 4) in Melbourne, Australia in September.
