New site launched at last

Well here it is: SFFMedia version 3.0. We're still ironing out some bugs, but so far so good. There's been a few server drop outs, so you might experience a bit of rough surfing over the next couple of days. Hopefully we'll get all the bugs ironed out by the end of the week. Just found some behind the scenes footage of The Prisioner remake with Ian McKellen (YouTube video on our front page).  Looks promising.  I'll add an article when I can. It's due out at the end of this year. Let us know what you think of the new site!
 

SFFMedia 3.0

Nearly ready to launch the new site. Looking a lot better I think - SFFMedia 3.0. However I imagine they'll be lots to fix when it does make it into the wild...
 

Knowing with Nicholas Cage

Saw the Nicholas Cage movie Knowing last night. Featured a spectacular plane crash sequence. Almost worth going to see it for the plane crash alone. Don't think I'll review it for the website though. Just an average science fiction movie when all was said and done. Uninspiring dialogue and a predictable ending.
 

Reading too many books at once

Simultaneously reading Greg Bear's The City at the End of Time and Iain M. Bank’s Matter. Both have been very slow going, although I'm not sure why, they're interesting enough. Then of course I started a Joe Haldeman novel and have three novels going at the same time...
 

Time enough at last

Gerard and I decided to add personalised blog sections to the website ages ago, but I've been very slow getting my section off the ground. Finally found some time. Anyway, hello!
