Epic Deathly Hallows trailer

The first official trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been launched by Warner Bros. and I’m happy to confess that it’s roused the sleeping Potter fanatic in me. At 2.29 minutes it's considerably longer than the teaser trailer premiered at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, and if it is a fair representation of what we can expect come November, it looks like director David Yates and screenwriter Steve Kloves have succeeded in topping off the Harry Potter saga in a positively epic way.
Yates previously worked on the fifth and sixth installments in the series, Order of the Phoenix and my new personal favourite, Half-Blood Prince. I confess that I was a little unimpressed on first viewing Half-Blood Prince but subsequently revised my opinion on a second (and third) viewing. Screenwriter Steve Kloves has worked on five of the six previous movies (all except Order of the Phoenix) and his grasp and handling of J.K. Rowling’s material goes from strength to strength.
The last novel in the Harry Potter saga will be released in 3D and in two parts, with part one scheduled for release in November 2010, and part two in July 2011.
