Revealing trailers from Prometheus and The Dark Knight Rises

Came across another Prometheus trailer today (another day, another clip, photo or trailer it seems!). I think this is the third official trailer and the longest at two and a half minutes. The more I watch, the more I like. However, I'm beginning to feel like I've watched too much footage. With all the visual fragments and plot points swirling around in my head, I can almost map out the film's entire plot trajectory.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great trailer - the best so far - but I'm afraid I'll know too much and it will spoil it for me when I sit down in June to watch the whole thing. You can watch the trailer for yourself below, but if you'd prefer to avoid spoilers (subtle or otherwise), perhaps you'll want to give this one a miss? Not that that stopped me of course. Can't help myself. I'm addicted.
You can find even more information about Prometheus at either Weyland Industries or its sister site Project Prometheus.
Ridley Scott's science fiction epic arrives June 8. The screenplay was written by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour), updated by Damon Lindelof (Lost, Cowboys & Aliens, Star Trek 2) and undoubtedly Scott had some input too.
All hail Ridley Scott!
Director Christopher Nolan has also released a new The Dark Knight Rises trailer. This one reveals a bit more plot (but not as much as Prometheus) and suggests The Dark Knight is facing his greatest challenge yet. Nolan's third and final Batman masterwork again stars Christian Bale, features Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as the villain Bane.
I could actually understand some of what Bane said in this trailer too. Amazing. The Dark Knight Rises in July (a variety of different July dates depending on which part of the world you live in).
June and July 2012 are excellent months for SF and fantasy. Prepare yourselves.
