Avatar pictures

cameron9Speaking of James Cameron’s Avatar, Market Saw has posted two pictures of concept art from the movie which provide us with our first clear pointers to how the movie is likely to look (without the 3D effects of course). Market Saw received confirmation from Fox that these are genuine. They come from an upcoming book, The Art of Avatar: James Cameron's Epic Adventure, by Lisa Fitzpatrick with a forward by Peter Jackson.

The first picture shows someone using a Power Suit walking through a swamp. In the second, a futuristic helicopter flies behind two alien, dinosaur like creatures in the distance. I guess the background of these two pictures is Pandora, where the movie is set? Avatar is looking good so far!
