Smith and Jones confirmed for Men in Black 3 in 3D

We told you a couple of weeks back that Men in Black 3 was on the cards and that Will Smith may be reprising his role as Agent J (James Darrell Edwards III). Showbiz411 recently managed to catch up with the director of the third film, Barry Sonnenfeld, who revealed that Will Smith had signed on for a third film and surprisingly Tommy Lee Jones is now interested too. Many people had expected Jones to pass on the offer. Tommy Lee Jones co-starred as Agent K (Kevin Brown) in the first two films. Men in Black 3 is now officially Will Smith's next project.

First Showing has also reported rumours that the UK comic Sacha Baron Cohen (most famous for the highly disturbing but very funny comedy Borat) and Josh Brolin (star of No Country for Old Men and the George Bush documentary drama W.) could be joining the cast of Men in Black 3 too. Brolin may play a younger version of Agent K in a time travel story. A 3D version Men in Black 3 is also looking increasingly likely.

I liked the first two Men in Black films, but would appreciate it if this time around they would spend more time crafting the script rather than creating special effects. Of course, you could say the same about almost any big budget Hollywood film released in the last 50 years.
