Comic World’s Top Names Sign Up For MCM Expo London Comic Con
With the cream of comic book talent gathering at our famous Comic Village, the MCM Expo London Comic Con is the only place to be on 27-29 May if you’re a fan of comics, graphic novels and manga!
And what a line-up we’ve got this year, with well over 100 top comic artists and writers coming along to the show. It’s an honour roll that includes the likes of WARREN ELLIS (Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Fell); JAMIE MCKELVIE (The Uncanny X-Men: Heroic Age, Phonogram, Iron Man); GARY ERSKINE (Judge Dredd, Knights Of Pengragon); BECKY CLOONAN (Demo, Northlanders and American Virgin) and many, many more.
Not only can you meet all the artists and writers on their stands, but the Comic Village features its own dedicated stage hosting panels from some of the comic world’s top names, giving you insights into their newest creations, offering invaluable advice and participating in audience Q&A sessions. And that’s not all – Friday 27 May sees the MCM Expo play host to the prestigious Eagle Awards, the comic industry’s most prestigious fan-selected awards.

After watching the pilot to Fox’s ambitious TV time travelling dinosaur fest called Terra Nova, I am praying that when I watch the next episode the entire cast gets eaten by dinosaurs (in fact, that hope is the only reason I’ll be able to sit through another one). Finally having had the opportunity to watch Nicholas Winding Refn’s Valhalla Rising, I now appreciate why it was received so well at film festivals and yet failed to get a wide theatrical release. It’s hard going. No movie release in 2011 was more misunderstood and unfairly maligned as a result of misunderstanding than Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch. Odds are you’ll disagree with that statement.
