Seven clips from Battlestar prequel Caprica

capricaposterSeven clips from the upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel series Caprica have been let loose on YouTube. In an unusual move, Universal Studios Home Video is releasing the DVD before the show is broadcast on the SCI FI Channel (soon to be renamed SyFy) in 2010. You'll be able to buy the Caprica pilot on DVD on 21 April.

The DVD will feature commentaries from executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick, deleted scenes, video blogs, plus the featurettes What the Frak is Caprica?, The V Club and The Birth of a Cylon.

The pilot will be available for download too. Watch all seven Caprica clips using YouTube below.

UPDATE!
The clips went down, but I've found alternative sources. Not sure how long these will last, so watch them while you can. I've also found the Caprica DVD pilot on Amazon here. You can watch an extended trailer on Amazon too.
