The gift shop is located to the left of the orientation desk, accessed through a glass door. Items are displayed on wooden shelving along the walls and on two central tables. The shop is open during park hours.
Embroidered Mission Patches
Patches embroidered on woven cotton backing, approximately three inches in diameter. Designs include historical mission insignia and emblems for spacecraft never built. In stock year-round; individual backing cards included with each patch.
Star Charts, 24x36 Inches
Printed on heavy cream stock. Charts show the night sky as it appeared at significant moments in the history of spaceflight, as well as projected positions of celestial features in decades to come. Rolled in individual cardboard tubes, ready for framing.
Freeze-Dried Ration Packets
Sealed foil packets, prepared using methods developed for the space program. Packages are printed with facsimile designs from the 1970s era. Shelf-stable.
Model Rocket Kits
In printed cardboard boxes, ranging from 12-inch to 24-inch display models. Kits include fuselage sections, fins, and engine components. Stocked year-round.
First-Edition Reprints
Facsimile dust jackets on heavy stock, exact reproductions of original cover designs. Pages printed on period-weight paper with typography and pagination matching first editions. Hardcover binding with cloth spine. Titles include selections from 1950–1965.
Pulp Magazine Facsimiles
Reprinted on period-weight newsprint, 8.5x11 inches, complete issues from science fiction and technology magazines dated 1930–1960. Original covers, advertisements, and interior pages reproduced in full. Stapled binding.
Spacecraft Enamel Pins
Forty designs in stock, cloisonné construction, approximately three-quarters of an inch in height. Each pin mounted on individual backing card printed in color. Designs include historical spacecraft and fictional variants from the collection.
Seasonal Reading List
Printed card, updated quarterly, listing significant works in science fiction and the history of technology. Available at the register. Approximately 30 titles per season, with publication dates and brief format notes.
Observatory Star Maps
Prints on archival paper, 18x24 inches, showing astronomical data from historical observatories with contemporary observational updates. Rolled in cardboard tubes. Available in black and white or full color.
Engine Diagram Prints
Technical illustrations from the Propulsion Gallery reproduced as large-format prints, 18x24 inches, on matte stock. Subjects include historical rocket engines and speculative propulsion variants from the collection archives. Rolled in cardboard tubes.
